Personally I am grateful to anyone that takes the time to post on the forum.

The way they choose to spell or shorten their words is insignificant to me.

The fact that they take time out of their day to share on here in the first place speaks volumes.

Just in case the OP is a Christian who thinks he/she is getting on his/her high horse about Christians being persecuted, then please note, not everyone is a Christian and also: The origin of the word Xmas
The "-mas" part is from the Latin-derived Old English word for Mass while the "X" comes from the Greek letter Chi, which is the first letter of the Greek word Χριστός which comes into English as Christ. There is a common misconception that the word Xmas stems from a secular attempt to remove the religious tradition from Christmas by taking the "Christ" out of "Christmas", but its use dates back to the 16th century.

So find something more productive to worry about OP; an abbreviation is for life, not just for Xmas!

Good grief, give it a rest, the point has already been made. i'll never in my life understand this metaphorical stoning that some folks indulge in when someone has wronged (according to them ofcourse, not me). i think the team should put an end to this. No one deserves to be abused.
