Thousands around the world will die today through hunger or through drinking dirty water,many Old people in our own country will die this winter because they can't afford to heat their homes and you are worried about something like this, I personally find that offensive but I guess we are all different , Merry Chrimbo!

I think that if, instead of 'M&S Xmas sale', they wrote 'Marks and Spencer Christmas sale', they wouldn't have room to tell you anything about it.

It's obviously not offensive, however much you dislike abbreviations.
