Well i am shattered
Hardly surprising considering the lack of sleep this weekend / week! Hopefully though this will mean i will be tired enough to enjoy a good nights sleep tonight
I *have* to get caught up on my uni work and have made good progress today so that will be the focus for now and everything else can wait
I have now listed all the items that were suitable from the great declutter :T I really wanted a snooze but decided to list the last couple of bits and glad i did as that seemed to perk me up a bit
I also need to sort out a mothers day gift as i was foiled on the item i was going to get :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

I am plodding on with my study and relocating some of the folder stuff as a little break now :T Some of this reading is very hard going!
I forgot to say that when i came home one day last week my Mr had put the shower curtain up! :T It may seem a small thing but when you are dealing with everything else and tired to boot then that 1 little thing goes a long way - especially as my bad arm has been particularly bad this last week it would not have helped it.
And.. drum roll.. my Mr has started to notice a difference here :T If i can just get him to move his things that i can't move it will be fabHe instantly agreed to getting everything he's put into the loft out of there too :T Although he then forgot that he'd agreed to do this on a set day :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
And he was suitably appreciative of my little bargain shopping - he knows i love a bargainMy freezer is now extra full though  Is it wrong that one of the things i think about when thinking of a bigger house is a big american style fridge freezer, or an extra freezer tucked into the utility / garage for all my bargains

Sorry to hear things are being so tough, DDFW.
Have I mentioned this site? Sorry if I'm banging on about it, but it's really helped me be a bit more realistic about keeping all the balls in the air, or not.peaceandfreedom wrote: »I am lucky too in that I live in a beautiful part of the country - people come here for their holidays so a stay-cation is fine by me. It's better than going on holiday knowing you are running up debts for it.
Sometimes I used to find holidays so much hassle - simply because I was planning and packing for all the family. Then when we get there, everyone still had to be washed, clothed, fed etc. But the kids always absolutely loved going on holidays.
Anytime I go on 'holidays' now it is to see family. But when I have a bit more cash, I plan to see more of the world - on a budget of course.
That's how I feel. It's as much as I can cope with to look after my kids here, without having to do it less conveniently in some holiday location!Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

How did you score? If it's high then please try to slow down before you get debilitated - believe me it's not fun.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Well done to Mr T (and well done to you for getting him to see the light).DedicatedDFW wrote: »And he was suitably appreciative of my little bargain shopping - he knows i love a bargainMy freezer is now extra full though  Is it wrong that one of the things i think about when thinking of a bigger house is a big american style fridge freezer, or an extra freezer tucked into the utility / garage for all my bargains
Wrong? My dear, it's practically obligatory. We have a large fridge - not the American style fridge-freezers because the freezer on those is such an awkward size - too small to take a pizza box for example. But our fridge is a large full height job and I LOVE it!
We also have a drawer-style freezer (the standard height) in the utility-room and also a chest freezer in the garage. As well as a little larder in the garage as well to store those bulk-buy bargains.0 -

I love visiting places, both in this country and overseas.
We've been lucky to be able to do cruises, so we've seen quite a few places, albeit a quick visit.
From next year onwards we hope to start realising some of our long term wish list, including places like Australia & China !
We've saved and worked all our lives, so we feel those first years of retirement when we are still fit enough for long haul, will be our time to do it.Early retired - 18th December 2014
