Card fraud

Shouldn't be any need to cancel the DD unless it was set up to take the full amount AND you doubt that Tesco have managed your report correctly AND it is almost the payment due date.
Did Tesco Card Services say they would send you a new (third) card? (you have the original, sounds like fraudster has an intercepted replacement, so a fresh one will be the third)
Did they say they would write to you with a form for you to sign and send back?
Incidentally, if your mailbox is indeed one which is easy to "dip", then you might be circumspect about having new cards sent just now. Your mailbox may be being checked regularly if the fraud is still in progress. When it happened to me, it was clear that my mailbox was still being "farmed" by organised fraudsters a month after the initial frauds.0 -
I got my new number today and I was given a list of failed attempted transactions so I guess only 1 going through was lucky. there were a few £1 ones and some to charities. I'm now waiting for the fraud team to get in contact.Nothing to see here, move along.0
