I definitely told you to send in appeals etc to P4Parking in posts #2 and #16 as well , as they are the PPC and only they can issue a popla code etc

I also mentioned that TNC were debt recovery, not the PPC

as coupon-mad says , your letter seems ok so do as she says please , even if that includes letters to P4Parking and the BPA for non-compliance

a debt recovery firm just want you to pay the debt - period !

Thanks so much Coupon-Mad and Redx.

Here is a revised version of my letter, based on your suggestions.

That's fine for TNC but you need to also send a copy or a different version (like in the pepipoo thread) to P4Parking as well, and the complaint to the BPA Ltd. No need to wait for TNC as you already know what they are like and you will be waiting for ages only to get some rubbish in reply or a standard 'demand'. And they can't send a POPLA code.

I would just move this line down 'I note you have not referred to my letter of ... so I am enclosing a copy of that letter' and I would put it before your penultimate paragraph.

And this is line below too polite (this bunch don't deserve niceties like 'please') and TNC can't send POPLA codes:

'Please either cancel the charge or send me the POPLA verification code to which I am entitled.'

So maybe put: 'I require the unenforceable charge to be cancelled by P4Parking, or my rejection letter and current POPLA code from them, so TNC must cease and desist contact with me and return the file to your client now. '
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thanks Coupon-Mad. I will send separate letters to both. Could you point in the right direction on the forum to help me write a complaint to the BPA, which I will do tomorrow? Also, would appreciate it if you could redact para 2 from your post above ("I would move...") just so these crooks can't identify me on the forum.
