I have to say I totally disagree, in fact I am amazed at some of the views posted especially those of you that haven't even bought anything!
I like most received a leaflet from Diamond Sales through my door advertising Wii's PS3's iPod's etc at unbelievable prices, and I have to say that I was quite sceptical at first.
After initial apprehension my first bid was for a iPod Nano I offered £15 for it, just on a whim, and I won the Bid!!!!! I'm so pleased with it I still can't believe I only paid £15 for it - my son's birthday is coming soon and he's going to love it.
I bought other things too such as a digital camera and some excellent wine, and am extremely happy with everything I've got (even the wife's pleased)
People that don't buy anything and moan after about it just seem like sour yolks to me. I had a great day (the sales man was very funny) and got some great bargains.
I will recommend it too anyone, and will be looking out for them for the next time they come around.
Nice first post, there. Only problem is that the 'auctions' are scams............which you know, because you're obviously involved in them.0 -
..oh..if only we had a barrister..

defamation on my character.
and where is that on the post? other than stating that WE think you are linked to the con!0 -
Youve really made me laugh with your "attempt" ! !researching the company
Why what did you do?peevish petulant grumps

and just one last think to addIf you intend to make libel claims against my person I hope you are prepared to discuss them in a court of law, as i will not endure any such claims.
Im sure that your aware(if not run to your solicitor and ask) but any action that you would try to take would be against Martin Lewis. He is the site owner and you will find if you read the posts that there is nothing defamatory about you. Should you try to make any claims, the first port of contact would be he site owner, then if he didnt do anything about it you would persue him
HTH you in your persuit to keep the name Diamond auctions shining!0 -
This kind of vigilante consumerism combined with tortious disparaging judgements is the sort of behaviour I relate to peevish petulant grumps with nothing better to do than to make loathsome comments

did you part with a £1,000 and get a thesaurus?
more often than not those on rogue traders or watchdog mention the "solicitor"0 -
In any event, if anyone DOES wish to make any comments to YOU to your email address, they would not be defamatory. You can only defame someone to ANOTHER person, not to themselves.0

..oh..if only we had a barrister..
We do. Me. His claims of libel and defamation are ridiculous. I'd love to know how we can libel or defame some random, identity-unknown webmong. Note to poster: you can't libel someone whose real identity is unknown. You've only purportedly 'outed' yourself after the comments to which you object were made. Think about that..........0 -
Well, after reading that last post from Mr Know, even with my limited legal knowledge I was laughing - do some people genuinely believe that knowing a few legal terms makes them experts? This is one of the funniest and most blatantly obvious attempts to 'big-up' a business I have ever seen.
Congratulations Mr Know - you are the weakest link...0 -
Hey everybody, i got a leaflet through the post today about one of these 'Diamond Sales' and that it is "A Rare Opportunity To Purchase At... Liverpool Marriott Hotel"
Seeing a Nintendo Wii for £25 and a DS for £10... Even A PS3 For £99 i got interested ... obviously slightly suspicious.
I decided to look around the internet to see if this was Bull... obviously it is. Thank you for saving me the bur fair down there.
The address they gave on this flyer is:
Diamond Sales, 71-73, Long Street, Middleton, M24 6UN.
Telephone: 0870 803 3214
I Like the reason they give for all of these low prices...
Due to the strong pound, weak dollar and various other fiscal concerns, Diamond Sales have been instructed to dispose of 100's of pieces of various stocks including electrical goods, luxury items, fine wines but the case, a selection of jewellety, household goods, bedding, tools, garden furniature, computers and accessories etc. Consisting of brand new goods and warehoused surplus stocks. All goods garanteed. Full Testing facilities avaliable. Prices shown are minimum reserve prices including vat.
Hmmm... anyway thanks for confirming my suspicions0
