It contains a toy and he hasnt been for it. He has plenty of cash and his children have loads of things materially so am going to keep hold of it and give it to a lovely lady who has five young children and no money and all her children are so happy even though they have so very little. I will also offer her a quilt which I have made and cant find a home for.
I wont be seeing this lady for some time but if he comes for it of course I will give it to him.
I know it might not be ethical or legal but what the hell - I like the thought of being Robin Hood for a day lol0 -
But you're not affecting him - he can get another from the company that sent it. You're taking from the business that posted the item in the first place.0

A hand-made quilt? Put it on eBay and raise loads of money, which you can give to the hard-up lady if you see fit, or buy more materials to make another? Seems a shame to just give away all your hard work, to a family that may or may not value it, and it'll get wrecked.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I think I'd just leave it in the bin! If he came around for it I'd probably deny all knowledge. If he said that Amazon or whoever had said it was in the bin, tell them you don't actually look in there.
Giving your quilt away is amazing, I know the amount of work that goes into them!0 -

Brilliant
Intention to permanently deprive assets is theft.
Then giving them to another person making them complicit in the theft.0
