Every year I get my neighbours parcels dumped in my recycling bin. I leave a note on my door to say that I dont want My parcels left with neighbours.
I have come home to find 2 parcels in my recycling bin - one for me and one for one of my neighbours. Now this particular neighbour has been very abusive to me and quite frankly i dont want to give him the parcel. He needs to learn that he cannot be abusive to me and then expect me to be neighbourly. I have done nothing to him but i will not stand for abuse.
I have not signed for the parcel,
Who does the parcel belong to legally?
I am going to put an additional note on my door saying that I do not want neighbours parcels.

I guess the parcel belongs to the person who paid for the contents or the addressee.
Are you either of those people?
Thought not.
Why not just leave the parcel on his front or back doorstep?
Are you saying you went out and left a note on your door that you didn't want your parcels left with a neighbour?
Might as well put a large sing saying 'Hi there, Mr burglar, I'm out so please help yourself'.
Could the parcel company have been confused over who the recycling bin belonged to?0 -

Card through the neighbour's door saying item left in wheelie bin at X address?0
-
Well i havent signed for it - I am not a sorting office either.,
I dont think its royal mail - its a blue and white card he left with no courier name on it. It says its an amazon delivery on the card. But strangely enough - it says that my parcel has been left with a neighbour so i am left wondering if this card was meant for my neighbour. If so then they will have no idea that it has arrived. This man (neighbour) caused me weeks of upset and I am NOT under any circumstances going to take this parcel over to him. He terrified me last year by knocking hard on my windows when it was dark and I was in the house alone at night. Took me ages to stop shaking. I dont open my door at night because you never know who it will be. A few years ago someone opened their door a few doors away to find a man brandishing a knife and he nearly got stabbed - so there is no way I will open my door if i am not expecting anyone even though I have 2 big dogs.0 -
What is to stop some random person walking down the street and seeing the delivery man placing parcels in the green bin.
Delivery man goes, person takes parcels out of wheely bin. No parcels, no proof.
How can delivery driver prove he even left anything?0
