All pointless till the OP gets the facts from his solicitor.
Darlapool - coming here with half thestory and a load of assumptions is pointless- we cannot answer or advise. Only your solicitor can tell you if the property is your or not.0 -

Absolutely. If you genuinely believed you had spent tens/hundreds of thousands of pounds on something, would you just hand it over to someone without a fight just because they told you it was still theirs?
And then come on to an internet forum to query this....
And realistically, how much 'gutting' could you do in the time it took for this situation to come to light? Builder ready and waiting for 'completion'....0
