Poster looked at your user name?

Pakistan would be my first thought (although I appreciate they are all the same colour and have straight hair)

I don't know - they both eat the same cuisine

You can differentiate between Africans and Caribbean's by offering rice and peas apparently

I think your statement could be interpreted as being offensive and would advise that you delete it.

There are quite a few posts on this forum stating "Indian call centre" when staffed by "Pakistanis"

    In particular CITI financial

There are a lot of people who do not know the difference between Indian and Pakistani (main difference - Muslim)

    There is quite a difference

My post queries why people suggest India over Pakistan when a brown skinned foreign name is mentioned

Khan is more common in Pakistan - you have the Dragons Den Caan (changed from Khan) for example

Why don't you complain about these posts - these are Pakistanis not Indians but Sun readers cannot tell the difference

  • I'm not taking a "bite". In fact I couldn't give a monkeys what people write, whether it's said in good humour or just plain nasty.

People have been PPR'd for a lot less and BTW, I won't be the one that reports it.

use the search function on the loans board - most references to "indian" in fact refer to "Pakistani" because Sun readers don't know the difference between paediatrician and ......

I have no intention of complaining as said in my previous post.

I am not interested in a cultural lesson or any of your anecdotes. I do think your comments are in poor taste. Enough said.

PPR for pointing out that most people on this forum don't know the difference between Indian and Pakistani will line my pocket nicely
You don't appear to have any criticism for the poster who assumed "indian" on the basis of surname "khan" which is a brown person surname popular in Pakisatan

but the first thought of a Sun reader is brown = Indian
