I had a problem with an order from M &S outlet. 3 of the same item. Only 1 arrived. Phoned and asked what was going on. Ended up buying something that was originally £22.50 for £2.47 and they gave me a £5 credit too.If I had known then what I know now . . .

No wonder M&S profits are down with all these glitches.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
I ordered 6 different gift sets when they priced them at 0.00 three have arrived and the other three have been dispatched0

M&S tend to be very strict on reselling returns. You may find an assistant willing to bend the rules, but strictly speaking they have to be put back out for sale (and not straightaway) before being resold.

So that's easy, then - you bought them because they were the last in your size, even though you didn't have your vouchers with you at the time, right?
I went to M&S and although they're not meant to a nice young man let me return and rebuy in one go, because I'd purchased them at 30% off so they weren't reduced any further. So that's great :j I also managed to get my orange juice for Christmas Day breakfast so happy days, I don't need to venture to the shops again0 -
Thought I'd post quickly, it may have been discussed, just got back from M&S Plymouth, and they had many Xmas items including gift sets and ornaments/cards/calendar items at 50% off. Also had many clothes at 30% off although the signs were all over the place I think it only applied to cardigans and the like.Baby daughter born 13.2.10 :j 6lb 11.5oz0

Yes -Spike is right - just got back from Yeovil - LOADS of non-clothing stuff is 50% off
- all Christmas cards, wrap, diaries, most decorations.
- lots of 'new baby' gifts (stuffed toys, blankets etc)
- Christmas bazaar/ stocking fillers
- lots of perfume/gift boxes
- LOADS of childrens books/toys
- basically the stuff that they usually do on the 27th at 30% off is now 50% off already!0 -
Are M&S likely to reduce gifts and things to a further 75% off, or is 50% off pretty much the best that they tend to go?0
-
Anyone know when their online sale starts? I have a pair of shoes in my basket waiting for 50% off0

I'm pretty sure it will go to 75% but that'll be for what's left, which I imagine won't be much. I think highly paid people at M&S/Mr. T are realising it's better to sell 1000 items at 50% off than 100 at 100% and 900 at 75% off etc. IYSWIM.Baby daughter born 13.2.10 :j 6lb 11.5oz0
