Well I have had an eventful month,
I had a driving test on Monday, failed it due to a really stupid simple mistake (I went straight on in the left only lane of a aroundabout)
I have already booked another test
I now have a 6 month contract at work, so thats a nice bit of news.
I have been quite busy at work, so not much has happened other then work related stuff0 -
Michael its good you recognise the mistake. The scary drivers are the ones that don't understand why they failed I thi, and failing first time means nothing. Great news on work!
How are you feeling about your confidence in yourself?0 -

I wish I knew at the time, so never made the mistake as everything else was fine apart from that..
My first ever contract was fun to read, quite interesting tbh
My confidence in myself is on and off, depends if I am happy or not.0 -

Well, waxing and waning confidence is pretty normal.
. Its good that its got up days now, huh?
Better to make that silly mistake in the test than pass first time and make it next day out on your own.
. Its really pretty normal to fail first time.

It is totally normal to feel this way. Everyone experiences times when their mood affects how secure and at ease they are within themselves, and this can impact on how they cope with all that life can throw at them. That you recognise this but know that you can overcome feeling negative, break through that wall of fear and come out on the other side, proves just how far you have progressed. From reading your posts you have done that many times now. Success at doing this will fuel further success. I wish you luck next time you take your driving test. Keep going. The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0 -
I think we all have ups and downs with confidence.
It is wonderful seeing how far you have come and how much stronger you are as a person
Good luck next time - I took three attempts, not as many people as you think pass first time, and as others have said you recognised your mistake!

Join the club of people not passing first time, I think we outnumber the ppl that do pass 1st time,

Next time remember what you done wrong the first time, dont let it put you off and you will sail through.
I hope your having more good days than bad, keep thinking how well you have come on in the last few months, you are doing great :TTreat other's how you like to be treated.
