That was the first post back in July , thanks for the all the replies and advice from there.
This was followed by this next post in October, once again thanks for all the advice and kind words on that thread
This was followed by my Update last month, once again thanks for all the lovely replies and advice
and finally my last update, from earlier this month
The reason for this update is to update about my Theory Test I took earlier, I PASSED
was only in there for 25 mins, I got 47/50 for the questions and then 62/75 for the hazard perception, I didnt think I be able to pass it but when I got there I had no time to wait around even through I got there 30 mins early, they said I could take it straight away so I did, I havent felt so nervous of passing since I had my final exam at school which was on the same day as my 16th birthday, I am 19.. Well now I passed my theory I am aiming to pass my driving test by my birthday next year (June 16th) so 6 months away, I have been taking lessons since Jan this year so I defo should, thanks everybody for the kind words and the advice that helped me to calm down

A quick intro
19 year old male, with hardly any confidence.
I have convinced myself that going out is quite a scary thing to do, something somewhere made me scared of going out. I have lost quite a few "friends" from not going out at all.
The odd thing is I can speak to some people but not others, no idea how that works but anyways, I just want to gain more confidence to be able to go out, have fun and be "normal" as everybody tells me I should be.
Also I think seeing all the friends I have left are in relationships has hurt my confidence and self belief
I dont quite know what else to say :wall:
I just want help
Thanks for taking the time to read this

I have always suffered from low esteem, confidence and self belief...
It took me a lot to be able to to the shop in recent months since losing my job back in July, Since then I have just sat at home and only really left the house once a week for a driving lesson, at times I have looked at myself and thought what am I doing, why I am wasting all this time and why cant I change.
Then I don't know what happened but on Tuesday, I walked into town, got on a train and went to London all alone, and to top it all off I got a taxi for the first time in my life.
No doubt I was scared, and at times in the day wanted to come back home, I even lost my train ticket and had to buy another, something I had never done before.
Now, I think I can address my issues with getting a job, making some new friends as I lost them all for how I become, and maybe sort out other things, I think it finally dawned on me if I didn't change I be like this for some time to come, in June I will officially have left being a teenager and honestly I don't feel like I have done anything in my life yet.
I have also quite calmed down from when I seen the increasing amount of Grey hairs in my hair and then I found one in my beard
This week has been a step in the right direction and one that I should of done months ago, I just need to carry on with these steps, no matter how big or small but as long as I carry on with them :j

SO today was the first day of them couple days, it went well, I wasnt nervous or scared at all apart from when the taxi driver they ordered for me took me to the wrong location!
Other than the fact my head hurts and my legs are quite sore, for my first day of working in 3 months, 3 weeks and 2 days, it was good.
A step in the right direction.
Thanks for all the lovely replies in my last thread :j
and finally my last update, from earlier this month
michael243 wrote: »Since the last update which was at the start of last month, I am still working at the same Primary School, it has gone quite well so far.
I only expected to be there that week but this week is my fifth week, I think next week will be my last but this 6 weeks of work has kind of helped me mentally with a number of things.
I have also booked my theory test for next week Thursday at 9am, hopefully I dont go there and forget everything I have learnt as with all the practice tests I am doing daily I pass with a high level of marks over the threshold every single time.
I am hoping to be able to end this year on a good note, and not still be bogged down with all my mentally problems and the fact I have been sacked 3 times from the same job...
Thanks for the support everybody, you are the only guys I can speak to about this as I cant speak about this to anybody else or in person to other people.

Brilliant news, well done. You are going from strength to strength and the difference in you is palpable. What a lovely way to end the year, with so much to be proud of and a new found confidence, that is enabling you to look forward with purpose and hope. The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

I'm so pleased you did put these all together.
For a young man of your age you have shown immense maturity and courage in facing your fears and rising to the challenges. Well done. I wish you good luck.
Please, please take your maturity into your driving life with you when you pass your test.
