Had another little flurry of Real Life Nonsense, back on track now though.
In happy news, I found a shiny 1p when I was about to cross the road, bent down to pick it up thinking 'ooh, so shiny, shame it wasn't a silver coi... Ooh look! 20p!' - the good times are back! so 21p plus another 20p purse shrapnel into the Kitty Bank.
New suitcase arrived, 30 year warranty :T Shouldn't need another one til I retire. :rotfl: And now I've got another place to use as storage.
DVDs have been transferred into their new case as well, the spare room looks so much emptier now (especially after muchos laundrying). :T
Been hitting the surveys again, they've definitely gotten worse for chucking you out late in the game, haven't they? Oh well, I shall persevere!
Got an afternoon of working on self employed stuff ahead, I had a sudden wave of clarity about money making and plans for the future do going to put some of those into actions day... I may be back with another post of ponderating about it all soon. :eek:a penny picker upper. Good grief, predictive text is really messing me around these days... that last paragraph up there had lots of random things going on in it.
Anyhoo, never got back to finish off my ponderating as was consumed with self employed stuff, made some headway so all good there. Lots still to go though.Going to have to save my latest money plans for another post, still ruminating about them.
Forgot to say that I had a chat with Mr M re: house location thoughts, and he's been thinking something similarNice to know we're both on the same page should we have to seriously consider moving anytime soon.
Did another huge rejig of my wardrobe (the random boxes on the top shelf) and managed to clear a huge amount of space. :T Decluttered several cushion pads, half-finished crafty projects, a jumper... I'm sure there was more...
There are some bits I want to sell, need to seriously get organised and get them onto eBay or FB selling site, I'll probably start to process that over the next week or so.
I really need to get a handle on all these random hours of work I do, I'm all over the place and still not got a decent weekly routine going.Plus I must get more food stashed away for quick snacks etc. though saying that I was very good and had another couscous and veg concoction for dinner this evening. :A
Time just seems to be evaporating at the moment. Thank goodness I'm in for a lazy Saturday tomorrow, maybe I can get a little more caught up again.
Simple Pleasures(!) : another part of my walk to work, a busy intersection, has grassy verges that have suddenly turned into beautiful mini meadows! So captivating watching them sway in the breezea penny picker upper. Forgot to say, Mr M won tickets for a super posh (with food and, dear god, I hope drinks) day out :j Though we need to get there, for some bizarre reason, at 8am (on a Sunday!).
...now I think about it, if I'm going to survive such an early start I suppose I'll have to err on the side of caution and take my own drinks. :rotfl:a penny picker upper. Dashing in! Hopefully work will be changing soon so I'll get more normal hours, crossing all my fingers and toes! :T Can't seem to stop being knackered all the time.
9p into the KittyBank.
Spending diary & budgets up to date. Ive also got OnePoll going away!
Decluttered two boxes of old business cards, a magazine, a little pinwheel promo thing, old medicines, more paperwork.
Oh! Major Konmari news! I took all the labels off lotions and potions in the bathroom. It's true, it feels so much calmer in there, I didn't realise how 'noisy' text can be. A whole new level of decluttering can now commence :T
Oh flip, forgot to put the water on/wash stuff for tomorrow! Must run!a penny picker upper. Whew, back.
As I was saying...
Forgot to take any of the nine (:o) charity shop bags with me this morning, alas.
Fitbit back in action. :T Doesn't mean my feet have followed suit. Must Try Harder.
Obsessed with veg & couscous right now, had leftovers for lunch today.
Cracked on with a self employed project, feeling rather excited to see it coming together. Hope I can complete this one by the end of the year (preferably sooner), there's a lot to do though so I must knuckle down if I want this to happen.
Mr M has just announced that the Cath Kidston sale has just gone online... the cloud design stuff is in there... Oh hecka penny picker upper. Damage report: £20. Much less than expected
£5 on presents for people, £3.50 frivolous brooch buy, the rest on stuff I was going to buy anyway (but now cheaper than expected, woo) or things I've actually been on the lookout for. Yay to projects and clarity of thought!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Yay to also managing to get up early this morning rather than sleeping in on a morning off. :T I've already decluttered a film from the box, should probably go and do something more productive now. :rotfl:a penny picker upper.
