    Flipping heck, 18k steps, that's awesome! :T

I've done terribly today, have felt so tired but did lots of house cleaning (ie mad scrubbing of kitchen cupboards) but apparently that doesn't convert into steps :(

AM, you need to go to the friends section, press the + sign and enter an email address of friend to add them. I shall PM you! :D MWC, let me know if you fancy hooking up on there too :D

I have to say, my charity shop runs and simplifying have paid off! There wasn't much tidying of 'stuff' that needed doing today (ignoring Mr M's accumulated bits & bobs :p), for once I got on with deep cleaning and doing those silly five second jobs you put off for several months. Very much liking how ship shape everything looks!

Haven't quite tackled the spare room yet, might get in there this week sometime and give it a good going over as I'm sure there's loads of rubbish lurking in there (still haven't quite unpacked from moving yet :o)

So beautifully warm here today, did sneak some time away to watch rowers on the river and soak up the sun. If only the house had been better organised we could have done that all day! Lesson learnt there!

:www: MFW Wonderment: 1polled, updated spending diary & budgets (all looking healthy, so all good there), no spending continuing on a treat.

:coffee: Simple Pleasures: sun, sun, sun! Oh, and the flowers I planted are starting to spring up, hurrah!

:heartsmil Burrow Building: plotting a holiday! :D

Over 12k steps today! :T It might have had a lot to do with seeing my bus sail past me which had me running to the next stop along to see if I could catch it (which I did :j )

:www: MFW Wonderment: NSD, did some research/thinking about job stuff ie. how to make more money/had a look around some job sites. Basically this resulted in me thinking that I should probably learn how to drive. :o Now just need to find funds for it...

:coffee: Simple Pleasures: watching the river in the late evening sun, blissful!

:heartsmil Burrow Building: house has stayed tidy for a day! :T Did some more holiday planning :D

Blinking work and other nonsense outside of my control, grr. Monday was a ridiculous day with no time for anything and then I lost the whole of Tuesday night to a migraine. Proper had-to-go-to-bed type one, blah. But feel right as rain again today YAY! And whew. We're a few staff members short at the moment so I'm filling in all over the place over the next few days.

Step count going well, helps that my Fitbit doesn't always sync properly at work so I always end up powering around to get more steps not realising I already have quite a few. :rotfl:

:www: MFW Wonderment: used my free trial bumble shampoo & conditioner, darn that it's so expensive in real life. Not even the 500 boots points they sent with it will tempt me. Worked despite feeling shocking. Minimal spend in Ald! on essentials only. Found 1p! Then a 2p! Win :D

:coffee: Simple Pleasures: I literally can't get enough of all the tree blossom that's suddenly appeared. I practically skip down the road every day! (Helps the old step count :p)

:heartsmil Burrow Building: house is still tidy ohmigawd. Listening to music in the evening (Kate! Who else? BLISS).

Oops, still been working lots. Think I'll try & work out how much extra monies I'll see at the end of the month some point today :D

Spending diary updated & piggybanks all uptodate. All looking healthy but now Mr Merle has now booked us a holiday which requires clothing and footwear suitable for 30*c heat. And I'm a cardigan girl. Looks like I'll have to go to the shops. :(

Sandals are my big problem - any recommendations for comfy yet elegant ones?? Apparently we'll be walking "20 miles a day!" (We'll see!!). I'm tempted by ones from hotter but I don't know anyone that's used them....

Oh god, I'll probably have to get my legs waxed too. And my hair cut! :o

13k steps walked yesterday :T But I need to get my meals sorted, they've been shocking lately due to all over the place working hours. I think some batch cooking is in order :D I've been dreaming about Italian bean casserole freezer ready meals for some time now ;)

Oh blinking heck, totally waylaid by migraine then utterly distracted by Kondo mania and the Age of Decluttering (five more bags to go to the charity shop and I've not even started tidying properly yet! :T)

I promise to return with a proper update, but highlights of late include a day of 22k steps (woo! But a lonnnnng way behind GG & MWC still, waaah); these new help to buy ISAs (very exciting prospect!), new sandals bought from hotter (£10 discount this weekend as well, bargain!), found a few gifts for people in sainsbobs (more than 50% off, hurrah) and only other spends were on food. (Oh, though I cracked after reading the KonMari thread and bought her book.... and also The Joy Of Less, which I've wanted to read for ages and was going to end up buying - and this way I didn't have to pay postage).

I realise how stupid it is buying a book about minimalism, but I find it hard to process information via a kindle :o Plus it may end up being passed on anyway :A

In Burrow Building news, the house is a lot tidier and food stocks are being eaten down. Carrier bags have been samosa-ed and towels ranger rolled, tea towels all folded up and my linen drawer has seen 50% of its space freed up, mad.

Simple Pleasures wise, my spring bulb planting has been a success as everything is bursting into life now, so beautiful! Loving the warmer, sunnier weather - have had so many wanders along the river, blissful!

In other money news, I should be able to start saving like mad starting next month, can't flipping wait!! I find myself saying yes to lots of overtime, and somehow surviving it all... Can't wait for all the pennies to start pouring in :D

I also have the book! Saved reading it till yesterday's flight; still only half way through despite 10.5+ hours in the air - the pleasure of being next to a 7 yo! Will also have to delay putting it into practice until we are home...

My steppage is well squiffy as we are now 6 hours behind the uk!

That's going to be me next week too, lol :D

I'm also hanging on til I get back to properly kondo. Seriously seeing a difference in the house already with the few small bits I've done though. Gawd I'm so happy, space to move again! What'll it be like after a full transformation? Can't wait :D
