Yay to bumbling bees. But isn't it a tad early for them??

Thanks for the well wishes, folks.
Not heard back from the interview yet... was expecting to hear something by late yesterday, today for definite. Starting to wonder when is acceptable to follow it up? Might drop them a line tomorrow?
Feeling a bit in limbo. I hate waiting around, just want to get on with things.
Have been filling in at current work this week and the extra time there has reminded me why I want to pack it in. Have written resignation letter, might hand it in regardless of what happens. Though need to try and remember to take one step at a time instead of spiralling into What If's? Should I's? and What On Earth Should I Do's?
Needless to say, tiredness from work stuff means diet has gone awol. It's all a bit chocolate-central over here at the mo. Will eventually get back on track, I daresay. Think a good rest today will help, though I've been pottering about getting some housey bits done.
:www: MFW Wonderment: have started a course (signed up via HUKD offer) which will be great for my CV, and have been doing some other career development stuff (worked on LinkedIn profile/have been reading some good material - yay for libraries - that I'll incorporate into what I do).
Chatted/plotted with Mr M re: financial stuff some more.
Have been eating up random bits in freezer and picked up some yummy YS stuff in M&S (fig & hazelnut loaf = YUM).
:coffee: Simple Pleasures: had a lovely weekend away with Mr M adventuring in a new city and seeing friends. We walked a lot and saw lots of free things (sights/exhibitions). :T
:heartsmil Burrow Building: cleared the sideboard (again!) and have access to the record player once more, have been chilling out sans TV a lot more and listening to records and reading in the evenings. I've also managed to do more little jobs in the evenings, it definitely helps make the house a lot more homely.a penny picker upper. EEP! GOT THE JOB! :j :T    :T :j
Apparently writing resignation letters sends a good signal out to the universe. :rotfl:
Literally so excited, it seems practically made for me - people at the company seemed so on my wavelength, the work is totally up my street with lots of freedom to Totally Go For It - I can't wait to get started.Well, I've practically started already, I've already got some objectives/projects half-worked out in my head.
Also - my pay per hour more than DOUBLES! It will be so nice to be on a proper professional wage for once, considering the level I work at. I have such an eclectic work background that things have been all over the place for ages but to be honest, I'd say it's now paid off doing all the mad things I've done (and was advised against :rotfl:) in my working life. :rotfl:
Going out for tea (Five Guys - current fave and not too expensive :money:) to celebrate! Omg, got some wine in the fridge (and it's fizzy!), might have a little tipple now. :dance:a penny picker upper. Fantastic, well done :beer:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
