(again last 30 days useage) abviously everyone will be different and vary, depending on what they use. but for winter months I,m assuming the figures for most would be well above 30kwh for (last 30 days ish) at least maybe, unless I,m wrong
This was the three months finishing on the 15th of December. I don't take meter readings any more frequently than that, so I can't break the figures down any further than a quarter, but your suggested energy usage for the last thirty days is more than my entire quarter's energy bill, so it still seems pretty high?0 -
My Smart meter says I use between 5 and 8 Kwh perday, but then I'm frugal and have gas CH.That gum you like is coming back in style.0

If you have E7, NSH's and an immersion heater, then of course your leccy consumption will be much higher than for those of us with gas CH and DHW (or some other form of non-electric heating).
So it's really a meaningless statistic, because you are comparing totally different scenarios.
You might as well say, 'how much petrol do you use each week?' And of course the answer will vary widely. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
yes I,m using economy 7, but yeah your right, just thought id get a few peoples views that's all0

Just checked my electricity usage on the British Gas site.
Average daily use this quarter: 24kWh
Last quarter: 13kWh
My predicted next bill (on 18 Feb 2014) will be £212
We have gas CH and a gas cooker, but we also have three small electric convector heaters to limit the use of the CH as my gas bills are horrendous.0 -

I send meter readings every Monday to the iMeasure website. Typical summer electricity consumption ~6kWh/day. Typical winter: 10-12 kWh/day due to intermittent convector heater use in mild winter weather (e.g. now)..Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

E7 only
July 12 to July 13 was a precise 10,885kW. All electric E7, NSH's a lavish user with never less than an overliberal 22°C+ in the winter. Unless you believe an appliance has gone rogue or or a scalawag has plugged a happy-baccy farm into your supply the annual kW use is the only real figure necessary and indeed useful.
July 12 to July 13 payments were CAC ÷ 12 = ± £ paid by direct debit. No shocks, no worriment, just peace of mind and a 24 hours per day warm home with teeming amounts of hot water always available 24 hours per day.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
