Advice needed - changing provider & moving house

Hi,
Hope you can help. i have been locked into a BT contract for what seems like forever because we have moved house a few times. My contract is up at the end of December. I feel like i am being bamboozled by them - I pay line rental and broadband - and also the full package for cheap calls, so free landline and reduced mobile costs. i do that because I work from home. I am having to pay £62.50 a month on the regular payment plan - here's the breakdown of charges:
£15 month line rental
£14 broadband approx
£8 - mobile call discount add on
i did use to make a lot of mobile calls but am now using an override service to cut down my costs so I don't think I should now be paying £62.50 a month as my call costs have dropped as a result- which is great.
I know I can get a better deal looking at the ME website- but here's the challenge....I live in the back of beyond (Exmoor), and in one or two months we will be moving again as we are buying a house. I know if I do nothing BT will lock me into another 18 month contract so i want to do something now.
I've spoken to talktalk - who would be my preferred. they can do phone and broadband for where I live currently, but cannot do it for the new house I am buying yet (although they think they may be able to in the New year)
So - what do i do? Do I cancel broadband with BT and get someone else who can cover this house and the next with broadband - and put up with a BT landline for a further XX months. Or any other ideas about how I can break free from this BT burden? I really don't like them much!
feeling a bit lost - any advice welcomed! Thanks hannah (I've also posted this in the home phone section - sorry for duplication, but it seemed to be a bit about both!)
