Steph I really feel for you gosh men are silly sods aren't they. Really haven't got a clue the other day someone posted a funny card on facebook I have copied it here I hope that is ok but I think it will make you laugh

A man came home from work and found his 3 children outside, still in their pyjamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn around garden, The door of his wife’s car was open, as was the front door to the house and no sign of the dog, walking in the door, he found …an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, the throw rug was against one wall, In the front room the TV was on loudly with the cartoon channel, the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door. He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pyjamas, reading a novel… She looked up at him, smiled and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, ‘What happened here today?’ She again smiled and answered, ‘You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world do I do all day?…
    ”Yes,” was his incredulous reply..
She answered, ‘Well, today I didn’t do it.’

Tee hee hope you have a great day tomorrow and I'm sure it is just a bit of man PMT (Pre Man Tension):rotfl:

I've heard that joke before, and it's so true! If only we could sit in bed all day and the house and kids would look after themselves!

I hope you enjoy the course today.

Maybe you should make sure you work one full day when your Husband and kids are at home. Write him a list of everything you do daily, plus the other jobs he's been moaning about and see how much he gets done!

    Morning all,

Sorry didn't get chance to post yesterday, I got home at 7pm and was absolutely exhausted.

Thank you so much for the lovely replies, especially Ciaerda, that was such a funny (but true) joke. Loved it.

Yesterday was such a full day, but I have learnt loads. Will be practicing on my moody hubby for the rest of the week and then I will expand to some friends and then hopefully feel confident enough to perform a treatment on the local Spa owner who has offered me some work. If they feel that my treatment is good enough then they have promised to put some sessions my way.

I still have to pay my friend for the course £193. So will pass the first 10 treatment payments on to her, unless I can scrape the money together elsewhere.

I also swallowed my pride and put a Facebook post out to all my local friends saying that I am looking for some cleaning jobs, so if anyone hears of someone looking for a cleaner, please bear me in mind.

Hopefully between crafts, Holistic treatments and cleaning I could build up a half decent part-time wage.

Thank you so much for all your posts wishing me well. Hubby was an !!!! all weekend, but today he seems to have snapped out of it. Probably realising that being horrible to me, makes him lose any wifely benefits ;).

So onwards and upwards, I still feel very teary lately, and can have a little personal cry to myself occasionally, but I think this debt busting is a tough long road, I suppose the struggles get us down sometimes.

I have the money to make two debt payments in the bank, but with hubby doing odd jobs for the next month, I am a little worried about slow payers. So I am just allocating the money in YNAB but not ACTUALLY paying it out yet. Because if we have a late payer or non payer then I will put the money towards the mortgage payment rather than the unsecured debt. Need to prioritise house, utilities and food first. Worried about paying out on debts and then not paying the mortgage .

Hopefully this glitch in hubbys work will improve soon and we will be back firmly on track. I hate self employment and debt :(. Life will be so much better when the debt is gone and we have a months wages saved so that any glitches in hubbys work won't affect us so badly.

Anyway I have gabbled quite enough, hope you are all well. xxx

    Hi Steph,

Glad to hear the course went well, it won't be long before you're up and running at the spa :j maybe you could ask your friends to pay £5 for the treatment, I know it is practice for you but you are still giving up your time and your friends would get a lovely treatment for a small price - just an idea :)
