I disagree that you need to enter hundreds per day to win. I don't enter hundreds per day as I don't have the time. On average will maybe do 10-20 per day. Don't bother with the mags or Rafflecopter and do very few on Facebook and Twitter.

I consider myself rather lucky having won some amazing prizes. I don't post all my wins on IWIWIW but some of my big wins from last year are in my signature

I've never counted but I'm pretty sure I never enter hundreds a day. (not including December and the advents of course!) I'm sure I don't do more than fifty if that and still win a decent amount each month Mainly small things but they keep me going for the bigger wins, of which there have been quite a few this year

I've never considered myself a lucky person but since starting comping I think maybe I am after all! (Touch wood!)

I never post my wins on IWIWIW but do try and remember to put them in my signature. I average around 15 prizes per month that's entering probably around 200 a day mainly twitter. I don't really track how many I enter and just plod along entering anything I fancy

I really think it is just down to Pot Luck , I have entered 300 plus a day since March and won 3 toys,some shampoo and a DVD, I entered all but 2 of the hourly comp that ran just recently for a few days and had 200 winners an hour and I won nothing,some people had 7 plus wins from it so it can be nothing more than luck,people could enter 10 a day and get 2 or 3 wins in the month and some who enter 3-4 hundred a day could win none in that month.The only thing we can all be sure of is that if we don't enter then we definetly won't win .

I enter anywhere between 10-50 entries a day, spending up to an hour doing them after work. With the advents, puzzle mags and magazine dailies as of late, that has increased to anywhere between an extra 40-100 entries a day, and add another 5 or so for the weekly ones I also do. I always tend to enter the competitions I want to win but as that is mostly technology stuff and cash, they're also the most popular ones that everyone enters. As a result, wins can be few and far between - only a couple or so across this year but they've been good ones. I suspect if I entered comps for smaller prizes like DVD's, games and small value prizes, I'd win far more often.

Need some luck after the last week, held at knifepoint and robbed. That alongside other personal problems and myself and my mother getting two numbers on every line on the lotto tickets we put on last Saturday! :mad: Normally bad things happen before good luck comes around, I hope that happens again.

I had this conversation today as having the time I do literally enter 200 plus per day. There have been a few dry spells but there has not been a month where I have not won something.

My take is the more you put in the more you get out, this month has been good, relatively small prizes but quite a few of them. Yet last year December was poor. Take the good with the bad and enjoy the excitement of never knowing what is round the corner.

I enter between 100-200 a day including the mag dailies and rafflecopters (although, these have taken a back seat at the moment due to the advents!) I only enter for things that I want or that my family want. I never enter to sell prizes, so all wins, no matter how small, are very welcome. I average about 5 prizes a month and some of my best wins aren't necessarily the ones that are the greatest in value.

I accidentally entered the Euromillions last week instead of the Lotto and won nearly £6, here's some of my lucky dust *sprinkles*


I can never find hundreds of comps I want to enter, either because the prize doesn't interest me or they're via a method of entry I don't use - usually RaffleCopter. I keep winning books and have had small wins this year, like perfume and shampoo sets etc. Much better than last year when I won zilch, but I'm still waiting for a nice big win like a telly or camera

I was reading a blog of someone who has done an experiment this year and kept track of all competitions, she's found she wins roughly 1 prize per 350 competitions entered. When I tell non compers what I've won they always say 'I enter loads but never win' but often haven't entered a single one for months.

You probably are lucky but also work hard for that luck. I'm in a real dry patch despite working at it but you never know what's around the corner...
