  • I know a fantastic place where you can buy turf, I used them when I got my garden turfed. I had a serious case of bad lawn as I never really cared about my lawn, now I love it! The business that I used to get my turf is Easy Lawn, they are Turf Suppliers.

Do homebase/ b&q etc still stock it?

If anyone knows it'll save me trawling around tomorrow!

    Thank you

With all the rain it may well be difficult for them to lift the turf.

You can lay turf at any time except for ifs its frozen or snow covered (or underwater :( ) Its impossible to unroll frozen turf.

Best time is when the soil is warm, but moist, so early spring & Autumn gives the roots a better chance of establishing.

The thing that most miss is simple, given the above advice, the same as I posted earlier, and accepting the fact that we do have dry winters, (sometimes), turf can be laid from sept to may, give or take.

The only NoNo is don't lay it in summer when all the elements are against you, just the time that BarbyQ want to sell it to you, and especially if you are on a water meter as it will need constant soaking
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
