Yes, should be exactly that - but you never know with eBay...0 -
The buyer could cause more trouble than its worth. They could complain to ebay saying your a business seller and not registered as such.
Then a letter to the taxman saying your an ebay business and probably not paying tax on it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
However, you are a business, a business buys things cheaply and sells them on
It's not clear to me that wonderwallet is 100% definitely a business.
If wonderwallet deliberately bought items for selling on then I guess that's a business, but if these were bought for personal use and then became surplus to requirements then surely that's no different to anyone else selling stuff they no longer need.
Is this 100% clear? because I think it affects the outcome.0 -
I did buy more items in the sale that I needed because I was unsure of the sizing but thought I would sell whatever was left when myself and friends had helped ourselves, but this was a one-off and I won't be doing it again!! I thought people did this all the time and that you would only be classed as a business seller if you sold large volumes of stuff which you bought from suppliers to sell on.
I have refunded the buyer in full without her having to return the item just to be on the safe side and as I said before I am sticking to only selling my own unwanted items from now on. Saying that I had a listing for empty Pandora charm boxes and bags pulled last weekend because I had 'violated eBay's Trademark Violation' - another rule I wasn't aware of - I'm getting really fed up of Ebay0 -

How many separate warnings did you get for the bags and boxes? Yu may need to consider closing this account if you have too many warnings and start again. You can only do that though if your account is in good standing.

I just put them all on one listing so I just got one warning. I had searched completed sales too to work out how much to put them on for (there have been quite a few sold recently). I was quite pleased because I got bids after just an hour but then they pulled it after 2 hours!! I can see more have been sold since then, they must have a sneaky way of not getting their listings noticed!0

One warning is OK so you should be fine. As to which get pulled, they work on reports from other members, so it means someone reported you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It seems like certain members are above ebays rules for mere mortals.
If your a good seller making them lots of money then they tend to overlook certain illegal / banned items.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Certain members are above eBay rules unfortunately, maybe you need to be in the inner-circle haha. A few years ago, I tried to sell a genuine 'Charvel' guitar neck on eBay and it was removed for 'Trademark Violation'. At the same time, there were people selling waterslides of the Charvel logo so you could make your own fake Charvel neck...
Quick look on eBay... oh yes, they're still there, just under a different name. Seems you can sell all the bits required to make a fake, but you're not allowed to sell a genuine. Da da da da DAH... !!!!ing Useless0
