iPhone 5s direct from apple - payg?
Hi All,
I am looking to buy an iphone 5s as a gift and wanted to get some information on what comes with the phone when purchased outright direct from the apple website.
On the website it says that you can purchase a payg starter pack through what appears to be the 3 network for £15. Is this just a one month (30 day) deal with no further need to top up the package after this period or am I signing up to a payg contract as it's not clear on the website.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rob

PAYG and contract are two different things.
If it says PAYG then you will have £15 credit and when it is done that is it unless you top up which there is no obligation to do.0 -

A iPhone direct from Apple is unlocked and sim free, you can then put the card of your choice in it, be it contract or PAYG. You don't need to buy a sim at all if you have one already.
If you already have a PAYG sim simply ask the network for a nano sim and they should be able to move you as is, retaining your credit and number.
If you prefer simply get one from whatever network store you wish and put it in the phone.
The three deal effectively is your first months top up on their All in ON 15 tariff, after 30 days any unused allowance expires till you top up, so no ongoing contract.0
