I was very impressed with the Trustnet site. Very polished, very slick.
Makes my decision to go with III, because their website is so clunky, look a little premature maybe.
Let's hear from people who use Trustnet's service, what its like.0 -
I have just opened an account to use for a specific investment method, more speculative than my norm. It certainly does look very nice and feature rich.I am one of the Dogs of the Index.0

Sorry to quote myself but today I set up a dummy visitors portfolio on Trustnet Direct's site and mighty nice it is! Same sort of info as on the old Trustnet Portfolio offering but so much prettier. They should compare very favourably with H-L and with that price cap deserve to do well.

interesting le loup. but, in post 61 i think you nailed it, didn't you?0 -
The III £80 is minimum and maximum and you only pay once for family linked accounts. Trustnet is 0.25% up to a maximum of £200 and no linked accounts.
So in my case, I will spend just one lot of £80 per year for my and my wife's account. If I were going to Trustnet I would pay £200 for hers and £200 for mine because both accounts are over 80K. In addition I would pay £10 for all transactions; with III I get potentially 8 free trades.".....where it is corrupt, purge it....."0 -
:T
you talked me into taking the III plunge..then threw a stick into my spokes;)0 -

Well the saying goes that a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle.0 -
Wouldn't IWeb be competitive provided you don't trade too often? I have a large portfolio, but don't switch much and am considering IWeb for my funds. :undecided
iWeb don't have the free trades but trades are £5 rather than £10 - I have opened an account with them and their site though basic works well. They can come out better or worse than ii depending on the number of trades you do - number of accounts etc. Basically similar offerings though.0
