Christmas Present For A Frugal Person

Hi, I need to buy a christmas present for MIL.
She is extremely frugal. Not tight as when she spends money, she will splash out but this is extremely rare and only on birthdays, christmas etc.
In the past, 90% of what I've given her has ended up in a drawer and unused. I really hate buying presents that end up in a drawer and she has so many gadgets, toiletries and clothing items she has things spilling out of the cupboard. She won't appreciate the thought of cash so I can't give that.
I was thinking of a gift voucher but she doesn't really buy anything other than groceries.
Does anyone have any idea of what to get other than a grocery voucher??

Could you get her a year's admission to something, e.g. National Trust membership or pay for her to become a friend of a local museum. Then she could get a year of free day's out which would appeal to her frugal nature.0

A tin of choccies... like Heroes, Celebrations, Quality Street. It's not something somebody frugal would buy themselves, but they'd really appreciate getting them.... and they'd be used.

Magazine or newspaper subscription? something for the garden if she has one and enjoys it. Some fancy food type of things which she'd enjoy but not spend money on herself.:A

You could make homemade choccies. The recipes make quite a lot and if you make batches of different choccies you can give a few of each and share the rest with your Xmas friends. Last year I used Aldi's recipes to make choccies for my friends.
This year I'm going to make bath bombs. They require citric acid which you can get from international food markets (eg Manchester) but can't get from Asda. There's a druggie problem with citric acid.
You can present your choccie or bath bomb gifts beautifully, at little expense.
BTW I love my friends and they appreciate my home made gifts.0
