My kids got their friends presents from Primark at the weekend, they had a loads of of t-shirts reduced to £2, they also had fluffy socks for £1.50' so their friends got a selection of socks and Chrismas chocolate, £1 from the supermarket for their presents. I was also in Superdrug yesterday looking for stocking fillers and picked up some lovely toiletry sets that had been reduced from £10 to £3 and some even cheaper than that. Came out with loads for £11.0

I buy a multi pack of lip glosses, (5 for £1.99 in places like wilkinsons or family bargains etc) in little round pots. then get a box of chocs like roses, take a christmas paper napkin, place 1 lipgloss and half a dozen sweets in, and gather it all up like a little nap sack and tie it with ribbon (I add cellophane around mine for extra protection. )
Cheap and cheerful!0 -
For DD1 (13) and DD2 (12)'s friends:
I bought twenty cute Japanese trio rubber sets in the Jan sales for ~ 10p each.
These were packaged up with a festive chocolate on 2 for £1 (Galaxy parcels) and a candy cane that I bought in boxes of 12/£1.
Last year I think they gave a lip balm with their festive treats. We have bought Xmas pudding shape ones from Accessorise and the Fanta/Coke multipacks from Claires in previous years.
I'm thinking toiletries for DD1's friends next year (not deodarant but nail/shower gels or funky socks if I can get some in the post Xmas sales.)0 -
I will definitely be thinking about next year post Christmas. It's an ongoing thing with my girls.
Thanks everyone.0 -
my 12-year old came home from school today and told me she and her friends are going to do Secret Santa among themselves next year - I congratulated them on making a great decision
