cheap gifts for daughters friends aged 12

Just mentioned earrings on another post. If any have pierced ears, there are some fabulous bargains on ebay. the only issue with ordering stuff through the post now is, maybe the OP's daughter will be breaking up at school on Friday, and may not see all her friends to give them their gifts before xmas if they don't arrive in the post until next week?

Do you have a Store Twenty One? I went in there today looking for gifts. They had lots of nice candles, pretty signs, jewellery, scarfs, storage boxes, all for around £1 or £2.

Once you've got it cracked, keep an eye out all year round for "end of line" super-cheap stuff and keep an ongoing box of goodies for all situations like this. It's surprising how cheap you can occasionally find great things, that you can't find on demand.

I have been to £1 shop and bought impluse type body sprays 2 for £1, a 4 pack of nail buffers, 2 twin packs of eye makeup wipes 2 for £1 and in Savers Me to you tissues.

I have split all multi packs down and wrapped in cellophane think it came to about £1.37 each.

I used to hit Claire's Accessories at sale time and fill a huge box which was dipped into through the year for friends birthdays.

i've stopped the pressie stash now for DD's friends, as they are in secondary school, and what they like/dislike seems to change in a nanosecond .

I don't know why DD's friends are applying to university/working full time etc when they're only about 4 and starting school in January.
