Anyone used Mediation Service ?

Hi
Been having a long running EU Comp case against an airline. Started Small Claims Court proceedings and surprisingly, they're defending the case. I've received the Defence and have completed my witness statement and bundle.
I'm confident I've got a strong case but am considering Mediation first. Last thing I want is to go to Court and the Judge takes the view that I haven't made every effort to resolve this. (despite numerous identical template denial letters from the defendant)
Have others here had similar experiences ? Any thoughts gratefully received.

Yes plenty of us but your post is better positioned on the relevant airline thread.

Thanks...it's not an airline specific question though.Knowing full well that airlines trawl this site, I don't want to show my hand early !!

Only problem is that different airlines react to the mediation service differently plus doesn't really matter when you 'show your hand' as if you opt for mediation (and IMO you should) you are going to have to present your argument at some stage.

Well...the airline concerned are very fond of referring to MOT's !
Sending my statement this week so will probably do Mediation & see what they offer.
