I would go with that for Dr Who as well titchylin as cant think of anything else that would fit. Others though are confident that the staircase is Dr Who.0

Could the 50 sign be " Adventures in space and time" (it was something to do with the dr who 50th anniversary )
The staircase could possibly "the next step" was on some random
channel maybe Disney channel? OR - Hebburn -stairway to Hebburn (heaven)
probably not for both of them but worth throwing in the mix

I think it is the Earth. Looking closely there seems to be shapes that could be countries. If people don't think it is Dr. Who then could it be Winter Watch, the big freeze 1963? I've been mulling over the 50 in a blue circle and the spiral staircase for a while, and personally come to the conclusion first raised by polesana, that the staircase is simply an easy visual reference to 'Spiral' aired in Feb this year. For what it's worth, the staircase from the Tardis seems more elongated/narrow and therefore not an identical match. With so much made of the Dr Who 50th anniversary it must be the 50 in a blue circle.
By the way - anyone have anything more to suggest about the 'vintage' microphone in the 2nd floor window??? I'm still drawing a bit of a blank there :eek: (don't think The Choir is likely as I suggested in my earlier post, so if others have any more ideas that would be fab!)
