Getting EE to honour Orange Wednesday

We have had EE broadband and home phone since August.
We *should* get Orange Wed 2for1. 5 phone calls, 2 letters (one a formal complaint) and countless emails and live chat sessions all promising it'll get set up, but still we have not achieved this. We are being ignored and I'm fed up with it! Neither letter has received a response.
I appreciate its only small, but I want my discount!
Any ideas on where to go from here?

The easiest way is to get an Orange PAYG sim and use it for Orange Wednesdays.0

Whilst that is true (I have done just that) the fact is they should already be getting it and shouldn't have to get a SIM and buy some credit.0

Send a formal complaint via email, wait 8 weeks and when it's ignored complain to CISAS - then they will provide it. Also ask CISAS for adequate compensation for missing out and all the time and effort you've put in. Whilst it will take a while, it's the only way to go and will lead to success if you are in the right.0

You've always had to send a text to get these codes, what network is /are your mobiles on. Could it be they are not passing the shortcode on to EE's servers?Rusty! wrote:Whilst that is true (I have done just that) the fact is they should already be getting it and shouldn't have to get a SIM and buy some credit.
Orange Wednesdays texts are chargable and have been for a long time, 35p I think, so you need to have some credit, or again if it's another network they have their mobile on it may be the reverse charge is failing and hence no code being supplied.0 -
you could also use the Orange Wednesday app., thereby negating the need to send a text, and avoiding any charges completely.0
