I booked a flight from Manchester to Toronto via London. (Route= Manchester - London - Toronto). The Manchester - London flight got delayed by 60 minutes as a result I missed connecting flight and thus, arriving at destination after a 14 hours delay.
As actual flight delay was only 60 minutes, I was wondering in such as case whether I am eligible for compensation.

Have a look at the FAQs for the applicable airline. The delay that matters is the 14 hour arrival delay. (assuming you were not on separate tickets) Whether you are due compensation will depend on the reason for the initial delay
If on separate tickets no compensation due as it is a risk you take booking separately0
