Combi boilers ARENT what they are made out to be
Restrictive for showers and hot water?
Complicate internal operationally which means usually that if you have a fault you lose heating AND hot water until its fixed + added expense?
Yes you gain space from the airing cupboard, but then you lose your airing capability?
I wouldnt think JUST about combi's

Thanks Ted, combi boilers are my only option, my flat is small the walls are solid concrete and the replumbing and redesigning the flat is not a viable option

Look for long warranties. Worcester offer 7 years last time I looked if you choose an installer from their website (but check before you sign up).0

Go to your local plumbing merchant ( plumbcenter, PTS) and ask them. Usually they have some boilers that they can discount well depending on stock, just be super friendly when you visit.0

Can your chosen RGI not advise you?0

They could or I could decide to make a decision from various different opinions

Very few RGI's will want to install and commission a boiler that they have not supplied themselves, as it's a can of worms. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Or maybe I will find an RGI that will install a boiler that I want

But what boiler do you want? You expressed no preference, you simply asked for 'best deals' (implying the cheapest possible).
What is your budget? What rating of combi do you require? Is the property even suitable for a combi in terms of water pressure and flow rate?
Your best route is to get your RGI to do a site survey and then give you some options based on his findings. Not choose it based on what people tell you on here-who haven't seen the property. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Wow intense, just putting feelers out and researching, I have a combi boiler already, water pressure and flow is very good.
Chill out it is Xmas
