Can't open hotmail.co.uk account

For the past few days I've been unable to open my hotmail.co.uk account. I've followed the instructions and had a link to sent to another account.

I've followed the instructions in the link but it said it was timed out even though I clicked on the link immediately.

I then tried to get help via the microsoft website but the when I copied the letters and number to prove I'm not a robot, they wouldn't be accepted.

There is no chat help desk either.

What should I do now?
Is anyone else having this problem?

Try logging in via http://www.live.com or http://www.outlook.com

Did you originally forget the password? Sounds like that's what they think.

And try a different browser like http://www.firefox.com
