I think he's saying people do....sometimes. We're slow in this country to switch from established brands, labels, companies etc. Especially if it's to a relatively untried alternative.
I've just swtiched Gas to Daligas. I was so pleasantly surprised. Took 3 weeks. No problems.
Am switching Electricity to Npower.....They've sent me conflicting emails, asked for 2 final readings, still not switched me over. Wish I'd gone elsewhere, even if it had cost me a bit more.
The Utilities Industry, in this country, is an utter shambles.0 -

ebico are great for low users, of that I quite agree. Their "no standing charge" is a great gimmick (their rates are high), as is their "only not for profit" tag (what exactly is their relationship with SSE).
More entrants into the market should be welcomed; the more competition the better. However for every OVO, ecotricity and ebico there's a Spark, FU and economyenergy.0
