Tend to have ours on most evenings and I clean it out about once a week.
Always wondered should you be doing it daily or not.

Once a month probably. Depends what you're burning though0

Mine would be overflowing after two evenings worth of burning. I have the Charnwood C5. Thats with wood burning only. Often read people leaving it days/weeks, would that be down to having larger stoves?0

I have a small wood burning stove and clear it our about once a week at most. I wonder if it depends upon how dry the wood is?0

Smokeless, every 2 days0

Not cleaned ours in 2 months. It's dual fuel.0

If you are burning smokeless you need clean it out regularly to ensure that your grate is not submerged in ash otherwise you may burn through it. The opposite if you are just burning wood.0

Is that mulitfuel? Our grate sits about 2 inches off the base of the stove so the ash builds up under and then over the grate. I only scoop a bit out every now and then when it spill out the door0 -
Burning smokeless in a multi fuel stove I have to empty the ash pan every day ( that's 12 hrs burning )
If I'm using wood only, when the ashes fall out - about a week0 -
Burley Hollywell, I empty once every 2 months or so, that's burning heat logs only!0
