economy 10

hello everyone.
please would somebody enlighten me as to what economy 10 is and can anybody get it?

Economy 10, is similar to Economy 7(7 hours cheap electricity in early hours of morning) but you get a 'top up' period of 3 hours normally in the afternoon

The top up rates are normally more than nightime but less than day time.

I believe very few firms offer E10 and it requires a complicated metering system to be installed.

If you do a search for E10 on this forum you will come up with a lot more information.

However I believe that the bottom line is that if you haven't got E10 you might have difficulty getting it; and it is by no means certain that it will be an advantage to many consumers.
