Hi folks
Hope a biker can help! I ordered a helmet a couple of weeks ago from Hein Gericke, during a sale. They say that delivery is within a few days during busy periods, but I've heard nothing. They never pick up their general customer service line, and nor do they answer emails. I managed to find the number for their head office, but nobody is picking up there, either.
Wondered if anybody knows of a direct contact I can use?

Are they going down the pan again?0

I don't know. Been trying to do some digging, and it seems their online service has been bad ever since they were rescued. So annoyed. Public transport is costing me a fortune while I wait!0

I drove past their shop at the weekend, it seemed to be alive and kicking.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Yes, what Dext37 Fielding said is confirmed by Motor Cycle News.
OP, I hope you paid by either debit or credit card... in which case there is a very good chance you will get your money back.
Have a read of MSE's Chargeback article... it applies to both debit and credit cards.
Also, if the purchase was over £100 and you used a credit card, then you could consider a Section 75 refund claim, but I would go down the chargeback route first.0 -
I feared as much, hence my post #2.
What's the betting on HMV going bust again early in 2014 too?0 -

Pop down to Metropolis in Vauxhall (if you are London based) I'll sort you out something.
Dexter.
You have no idea how Power Kitten paid for the helmet, so how can you guarantee that they won't get their money back?
It just sounds like you are using scare tactics in order to drum up custom for the place that you work in/own.0 -

Agreed, and post reported.0 -
Darn, that's a shame. Hein Gericke is some very good quality gear. I paid by credit card, and it was over £100.0

God, I hope it doesn't take too long to get my cash back. The reason I bought a new helmet is because I was burgled recently, so I'm not exactly swimming in cash at the moment!0
