Oh no, oh no, oh no! Thanks to my phone, I've just reported someone's post in this thread as spam and I have no idea which one, I just got a pop-up notification thanking me for doing it! My apologies to whoever it is!

Cat/dog calendars/mugs/etc are sooooooooooooooooooooo boring - imagine how many of those they already have?
Get them something nice, something for THEM
Or give cash
(yes, I know a lot of dog walkers/cat siters and we had those conversations many times LOL)
They will get what I buy them same as everyone else, it's the thought that counts afterall

I`m a dog walker pet sitter and I have been really touched with the lovely gifts the owners have left me for Christmas and the messages in the cards.
I didn't expect anything as I love doing my job I have taken a weeks holiday this year (organized cover for the dogs as my expense) and will be working over the festive season doing cat, rabbit and chicken visits.
My earnings for the next 2 weeks have over 1/2`d due to owners being at home and not needing the walks - but I understand this and accept it, its a hard job in all weathers and yes you can make a living from it - but boy do you have to put the hours in!!!!
I have given each of my clients a professionally taken photo of their dog and a handmade treat.0 -

Seriously?!?!? That's over £500.
EDIT: Oh their wages, not mine! Phew!0 -

Yup... so on those wages - one week dog walker wages would only be 10%
My dogwalker got a little pressie already but is also getting £50.00 cash to buy herself something she will enjoy... away from a pack of dogs covered in mud

There are three ladies who walk Artie 3 days a week, so £30 between them was the tip, I got a thank you and they'd be using it towards their after christmas party which is nice

I think my dog loves them more than me!0 -
I just transferred £50.00 to my dog walker's bank account

Bit early but came home today to a lovely card and a lovely chew for Zara.
Personally I really think that one week's wages as a Christmas tip is about right but - each to their own of course

That's what we gave our cleaner, one week's wages of £30.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
My clients have been amazing this year, all but 1 of them have given me a little Xmas bonus ... they have ranged from choccies through to alcohol and my most generous client gave me 100 quid, double my weekly wages from her. As somebody else said on here, its the thought that counts so I'm more than happy with a cheapo bottle of plonk ... it just shows to me that they appreciate the care and attention that I show to their furry members of their family, having to go out in all weathers and get covered in mud!! I always bake dog biscuits every year to give to my clients to say thanks for choosing me
