How to prevent grey hair?

Options
Is there anything I can take to prevent grey hair or slow them down?

I have started to notice a few and I am 27.

Thanks for any input

There are treatments for hair loss/thinning but I'm unaware of treatment for grey hair. I think I had a few by that age if it's any consolation.

Other than hair dye, no there is nothing.
  • As early grey hair is said to be genetic, I'd recommend taking up philosophy.

Or learning some biting retorts used by stand-ups to deal with hecklers, which would come under applied philosophy. The risk with those are the targets & these Politically Correct times.

Ah - ask if anyone commenting is being ageist - & watch them flee...

A few grey hairs appearing doesn't necessarily mean you'll go white overnight. I'd chat with your mum as that might give you an idea what to expect.

My solution has been to have highlights for years. I'd have them anyway as my natural colour is boring and mousey but having a range of shades through my hair disguises the naturally 'blonde' ones.;)
  • No, just dye it :D

I have heard that rinsing in sage tea is good for covering it naturally.I think the recipe for it is on here somewhere.
Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.

Don't have kids, I'm sure they are the cause of mine.

I thought for a while my hair was turning grey, but now that it's settled down i realise it's Ash Blond.
