Washing machine help!

If you are going to wash more heavy clothes, like blanket etc you need 8kg but for average clothes and for small family you should choose between 6.5 to 7kg its enough.
and for very less clothes you can buy less than 5kg.
It depends on how heavy clothes do you want to wash.0 -
I you get one that has a load size sensor (I don't know anything about Indesits, but my LG does) then go for the biggest drum you can. If you do a smaller load it will use less water, but the capacity will be there when you need it.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Who are you?
How many in your household and how many washes a week do you do?
About your machine
What model/drum size do you have?
How long is a 40 degree wash cycle?
Would you recommend it?
I don't want to spend a fortune but would prefer to buy one that is right for us than buy a cheap one. Similarly, I'll not buy a 9kg if a 7kg will do.
Thanks in advance!
I'd recommend a Bosch. They're very reliable. You don't want to have a cheap make keep breaking down on you, especially with a baby and a youngster to take care of.
My sister got a Miele about 15 years ago and it's still going. The one time it did have something wrong with it someone came out and fixed it free of charge. Obviously a Miele is very expensive, but I'd recommend going for the best machine you can afford, - Bosch or AEG are both good.
Buy cheap buy twice!0 -
How many in your household and how many washes a week do you do?
2 Adults 2 teenage boys (who do their own washing) Probably about 10-12 loads a week
About your machine
What model/drum size do you have? Beko8kg
How long is a 40 degree wash cycle? 50 mins quick wash, or 2 hours 42 A class wash, both 1200 rpm spin
Would you recommend it? YesPlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

Yes, so would I.
I've got an 11kg LG direct drive machine, and it jiggles the wash load about, and only releases the water it needs.
I can get a king size duvet in it - wonderful!:T
It takes 50 minutes for a 40 degree, 1400 spin which works well.
But, I couldn't cope without a tumble dryer - a full size basic condenser type isn't that expensive, and worth it's weight in gold!
Damp washing hanging around is awful.

That's what I have. I love it. Had it 4 and a half years and it's never needed anything fixed, and it's on every day, usually more than once. Was a bit miffed when they took out the 12kg model lol
You can also do a 30 minute wash.
I get given dresses, jackets or curtains if someone wants to get something steamed without actually washing it. It's a good feature.
My dryer is in the garage and I won't use it as it makes an awful racket, and the garage creeps me out. I still manage to dry most things within a day. Might not be ideal but I have 3 clothes horses if I need them, and radiators, and doors - Chinese laundry comes to mind sometimes, but they're clean and i'm not particularly bothered.0 -

My sister's Bosch lasted 4 years. She did replace it with another Bosch though!0 -
Just the two of us but we went for the Maytag 9kg washer and condenser dryer from Costco.
Has been faultless the past 2 years.0 -
I would recommend thinking about a machine that does a decent fast wash. We get through a lot of sports stuff and a 15 min wash frankly wouldn't be enough for it
although I do tend to put it into the machine immediately after wearing which helps. Anyway my miele does a 42 minute fast wash which means I can get it in and out quickly.
I do like having a bigger capacity (I think ours is 7kg). There's only two of us and I can get away with one household wash a week (towels, bedclothes) unless we have visitors. You can always do less clothes in a big drum but you can't do more clothes in a small drum
at least that's my tuppence worth. 0 -

Fair enough - we are in a flat, and I couldn't stand all the washing in here, hanging about.
But the washing machine is excellent.
