3. Change of contract

Hi

I have a sim only contract with 3 on the One plan paying 20 pounds per month coming to a end in the next 3 weeks.

Not a heavy user ....600 mins per month average use with about 250 texts but use quite a bit of data.

Now on speaking to 3 it appears I cannot convert this contract into a data only SIM to but a IPAD mini from them. I would have to cancel the contract and start anew with another one.

Now my problem here is that I won't be able to get any discount from them on a new iPAD mini contract.

Now is what have I been told correct or should I phone again hoping I get someone who can do what I want

Are they offering a discount if you extend the One Plan (other than reducing it to £15 a month which is the standard price now)?

I currently pay 20 per month for the one plan....the advisor offered to reduce it to 18 pounds per month

Thats the standard price for 30 days rolling contract one plan now, or you can get it for £15 a month on a 12 month contract.

So they are not giving you a discount just offering you the standard price as it is now. So you are not missing out on a discount on the data only sims because they are not giving you one in the first place.
