Is this website legit?

Hi all

Just wanting to know if anyone has ever bought anything off the website "ishopnsave.co.uk"?
I've never heard of it before so I'm a bit unsure about entering card details.

Thanks

  • Nominet (the UK domain name registry) says the website is registered to
    M Akhter
UK Limited Company, (Company number: 7478875).

The site appears to be hosted by 1&1 Internet AG in Germany.

Accoridng to ip4.biz "ishopnsave.co.uk has 0 outlinks(links to other sites), and it has got 0 backlinks(links to this site)."

That company number corresponds to (Companies House webcheck)
    PRIME SHOPPING LTD

However according to ishopnsave's contact page their company details are

According to Companies House that company was registered 5 months ago at

I'd be careful before parting with any money.

I haven't looked at this site, prices, or products but...

If a site is selling something at half the average price then there is likely a catch.

If a site is selling at a few percent below a big well known site you have to ask yourself if the gamble is worth the saving.

In short I only buy from known sources or eBay sellers with good feedback.

I think I know what I'd do after looking at companies house info on this 'company'

Avoid.... they're not actually a retailer anyway:

Both the address on the website and the one on the company registration are virtual offices. The address on the Domain Registration is in a block of flats in Gants Hill, east London.

The site, on the face of it, looks like it sells a comprehensive range of products. In reality though it has very few. They're mostly expensive electronic items and all sold by a company called Sportsworld. I could find no trace of a company selling electronic goods with this name on Google.

When I tested out the buying process using made up details my browser prevented me, saying it was an insecure connection. I temporarily overrode this block and entered my (fake) name, address, email address and phone number. I also had to enter my date of birth and my gender. Unfortunately the payment process, which the site claims uses Paypal, didn't work which bears up what people said on the Review Centre link provided by spannerzone.

To me it's obviously an untrustworthy website which is probably collecting personal data for possibly fraudulent purposes. Steer clear.
  • i was check the website it looks good, but you must check twice always if money involve always make secured.
