Evening all,
I'm shattered! We've not long got back from our local shopping centre. We went in when it was light but it was dark when we came out.
As I mentioned earlier we planned on going to Debenhams for a coat for hubby as there was a sale on. Now why cant they make it easy for us poor old shoppers? Not that they put the coats in one place, they scatter them around, sorting them into Designers and our Debenhams is a big place! Found a coat he liked and that I could afford with the 30% discount. They had only one in his size but it had a small mark on the sleeve. I managed to wangle another 20% discount for the mark (it wiped off easily when I got it home). I'm amazed, I actually came home with £15 of my vouchers and a £5 gift card.
On the downside to that is that hubby and I have had a heart to heart this afternoon. Some things needed to be said to be bought out into the open but now they have been said I don't feel we've gained anything from it.
Tea tonight was a takeaway. Not exactly moneysaving but I was too knackered to cook and he had only had 3 sandwiches all day.
Hubby has flaked out on the settee (an hour and 15 minutes till his bladder wakes him up) and I am catching up on a few posts.
Carolbee. I hope you have a lovely day out tomorrow.:)

DH filled the coal bucket last night, but didn't put the 25kg bag back in the shed afterwards so it was left by the back door, I needed to put the washing on the line so decided to move it, then promptly dropped it on my chuffin left big toe, suffice it to say it caused many expletives to come forth :pI have managed to split the whole of the top part of the toe
. I will have to phone podiatry on Monday to see if I need it checking out
Luckily I still have dressings left so DH cleaned it and dressed it, so I have been hobbling all day.
To top it all I found that one of the Christmas cakes had gone mouldy  that has never happened before in over 30 years of making them, so it had to go in the bin, what a wastethankfully the other one is fine.
Going over to Dobbies in Bletchley on Monday, DD wants to pick up some vegan chocolate for her friend and that is the only place locally that we can get it.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
