Morning all,
Twas a strange evening last night. I get so used to being on my own during the week when hubby comes home I'm rarely talkative and then he thinks theres something wrong. He snaps, I snap so in the end I said 'lets just go to bed and maybe things will be different in the morning'.
He was off out of the door at 7 and wont be back till late so we'll see what happens when he gets back. He'll be tired no doubt so I'm not expecting much.
I'm having a few problems with my Facebook. Ive had to close my profile as I was getting a lot of his work mates reading my timeline, requesting my friendship and making comments to hubby at work. Theres this one particular bloke.... 'The Worm' I call him he's a nuisance.
Jobs for today.... Well, theres a 30% off sale in Debenhams and hubby needs a new coat.... Well he's got a coat that he paid a fortune for a year or two ago but he cant wear it in the car and since I have £70 in Debenhams vouchers sitting in my drawer I think buying him a coat makes sense. Its probably a more practical idea than blowing the lot on makeup (which I am tempted to do).
Anyway, I'm waffling now.

Haven't just got up , honest !:D
It's very windy here, so I'm making the most of it and have two loads of washing merrily blowing on the line . 1 more load in the washer and one more waiting to go in , I have more than normal as DD1 has come home for Xmas :j:j. And brought everything that wasn't nailed down to wash :rotfl:
The house is fairly clean and tidy , I need to Hoover but I'm waiting for the cat to go out first as she's scared of the Hoover lol and is curled up on the sofa
Works xmas do tonight , looking forward to it
Have a good day everyone xx0 -
Hi all
It's all bright and beautiful down here, two lots of washing on the line and awaiting visit from eldest son later on.
Had home made Panettone, it was lovely, only the second time I have made it. It was lovely.
Dinner from freezer, Christmas films recording to playback another day and strictly tonight, can't wait for that.
Off to london tomorrow for afternoon tea in Oxford street courtesy of a gift voucher, going along south bank first to see outdoor market and photography exhibition too.
Hugs to all those that need them.
Might go for walk later and take the camera, such a lovely day here.Carolbee0 -
Afternoon Everyone,
We have been swimming this morning in an attempt to wear the Frog out .. It appears to have worked as she is now spark out in her cot
I have washing to out on and clean washing to put away. I also need to change the bed linen and then I must feed my Christmas cakes!!
DH has been dispatched into town to get some rolls for our lunch and to post a secret Santa present. We might even brave trying to put e tree up this afternoon, not sure how long it will last with a crazy climbing tree frog in the house but fingers crossed!!
Hope you all have a lovely Saturday xxWhether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -
Afternoon all
Fairly mild here today, I slept through til almost 9 o'clock which is almost unheard of.
I've had DGD3 here today & we made some biscuits with icing & sprinkles on them, though it was one sprinkle on the biscuits one sprinkle in to her mouth. It's the first time she's visited through choice & I'm sure she'll come again soon.
Tomorrow I need to defrost the freezer as I slept in too late today to get it done before DGD arrived & I'm too tired to do it now.
I'm really upset about my appraisal at work, roll on the end of term.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs HesterChin up, Titus out.0 -
Afternoon all.
On late today as I have been non stop since I got up. Had some quality time with my gd this afternoon which I love doing. Been washing and sorting the last few Xmas pressies out and generally tidying up. No idea what I'm having for tea tonight as I'm home alone. So probably something quick and easy with the least amount of washing up possible.
Winds picking up again and to be honest I would rather it rained hard than be windy (so much damage to be had in high winds)
Anyway onwards and upwards hugs to all in need and stay warm and safe all xxBright Blessings xx0 -
Evening all, (I feel like Dixon of Dock Green) only the more mature ladies will understand that:rotfl:
A nice day with dh today. I love our family to bits but sometimes we feel like we haven't said to words to each other all week.
DGS at his daddies, and dd at her fellas, youngest just getting ready for night out with his mates.
We've lit a fire and intend to snuggle up and watch strictly.
It's awful here, blowing a gale.
Tomorrow I have an MRI scan on my other knee. Hopefully it's not as bad as the left one.
Feeling slightly better hoping the anti biotics have kicked in now.
Chicken with bacon and mash and green beans for tea.
Hugs for any poorlies.
Bye for now xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Hester, I have had a very rough couple of weeks. Mine too has stemmed from my appraisal at work. I have been very down and upset about it. I'm trying to get past it and move on but it's very very hard.
Hope you are ok.the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -

DH had his appraisal and teaching observations. His first teaching observation was with head of department and he received an excellent, second was with head of college site and he received an unsatisfactory. It was the same lesson in the same week, only difference was a different group of students and he actually said the second set were more responsive. Turns out every other maths teacher in the college received an unsatisfactory too. He says he wishes they would just get rid of himLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin
