I have been to my appointment at Jobcentre (Not for signing as that is next week) anyway he told me that if I would consider giving him access to my Universal Jobmatch as he also said it will be easy for me then printing Jobs applications out and writing down my Job searching ete.
However if I give him access could he known the following: What if I look for a Job position and it's not right for me and I press the back button on my browser without clicking on a reason, could he known that I have looked at that Job and not applied for it?
Anyone know this answer?

Probably not, but then he might ask why you haven't applied for it, or clicked the button giving a reason why you haven't applied. It's certain he will have expected you to have seen that job if your JSAg states to visit UJM so may times per week/day.
Do not give them access, it can only lead to sanctions!
I tell them I am quite happy (ecstatic even) to fill in those silly little grey booklets.0 -
Only the jobs they give you to apply for. I allowed access and applied for everything they sent me when I was signing on. I wouldn't allow them access again.0

Told you or asked you if you would consider it?
You know full well you do not have to do that. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Well thanks for letting me know, I am not giving him access then since he could find out I looked for the position.
I might tick it when its my signing on day and when I get home I will untick it again

Also Jobcentre is a pain, at my appointment today my advisor booked me in to use they computers to log on Universal Jobmatch and create an email address and do some job search,
Bloody hell i got an email address and he knows this, why do I need to go when I have internet access at my flat and I always apply for Jobs everyday, it's annoying. I said to him I have internet and he said it doesn't matter as I still need to attend as if I don't then I could get sanctioned.
I wish I was on the work programme now or in work then I won't have to put up with all this rubbish. :mad:0 -

NO! I've never encountered this, even when I went to dodgy windows R us wanting staff dead or alive!, in fact if you ask me they should extend the reasons to not apply box - loads of options missing; this job isn't as described; cannot apply due to financial reasons and criminal convictions heck right down to this doesn't meet NMW! etc
In all honesty I don't even think checks take place anymore - unless you really start ringing alarms bells, if applicants can't get hold of the likes of Thomas Reily, Que Consultants and JSA Jobs then hows the Jobcentre meant to?? every so often I'll apply for one of these knowing it doesn't go anywhere, ...amazing the vacancy is one per every town in the county...
Imagine what would happen if they had a 'withdraw application' button! now I had better steady on LOL!! : )0 -

What 30 things are you doing now? Do not say looking for work as that's what you should be doing.Yes it was rubbish lol but at least I didn't have to do 30 things
