Frozen raspberry puree - no idea what to do with it

Options
Hi

I am hoping somebody could give me some ideas (besides turning it into jam). We had excess in the summer so I sieved the pips out and froze it - but now I am puzzles how to use it. It is currently unsweetened.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Thanks

Well spent £6.29 more, so added to sig. Thought I would add my first ever recipe, not one i have done myself, but got from Nigella. I must add that Nigella uses nothing but the finest, organic, etc. but this is the cheapie MSE friendly version, feel free to upgrade if you wish.

    Digestives - Tesco value x 1/2 pack 25p
    2 x value cream cheese £1.00p
    Value lemon curd 22p
    Butter ????

Ok, so you mix the digestives and butter (sorry don't know how much) together to form a base, this is either done by hand by melting the butter and adding to digestives, or in a food processer by adding solid butter, then line a dish, pressing the crumbs into place, put into fridge for a while to set somewhat. you then mix together the lemon curd and cream cheese and layer on top of the digestive base. At this stage, you may leave plain, or cover, if you so wish with fruits, etc, maybe meringue, or banana, Nigella did fruits, but let your mind go wild. I am gonna do this this next week when i get the ingredients.

I use this one, it works well every time and doesn't break the bank :D

    ...or over yoghurt...

    ...or added to a smoothie...

...or added to cheap bubbly to make a raspberry bellini on Christmas morning, to make the day special whilst you're opening your pressies

...or nice as a raspberry fool...

Having guests over Christmas - wondering whether to do a practice one next week or just go for it - looks like an easy recipe.

In champers or sparkling wine for a cocktail.
    In a vodka cocktail.
    Drizzled over a pavlova.
    Sweeten and put into tarts.
As a layer in a gateaux.
    Over ice-cream or yoghurt.
In with other fruit for a smoothie.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

Good idea SailorSam re the plums - did you sweeten them before freezing? I would need a very sharp knive to cut this puree up - should have given more thought at the time as to how I was going to use it.

It's really easy, you won't need a trial run but you could as an excuse to try it :D

Add a good slosh of port and make a lovely Eton mess.
