Best bank account for saving for a house deposit?

Hello.
Apologies if there is already a thread like this - I Searched and couldn't find one.
I was just wondering if anyone had any advice about what bank/type of account would be best to put money in for a house deposit?
Currently just using a bog standard savings account, but I want to ensure we are getting the best deal when it comes to saving/interest rates etc so looking to switch it up soon into something that would be more suitable on a long term basis.
Any help/advice is appreciated. :-)

I would try posting it in the 'savings & investments' bard as well as you might get more/better answers as it is a savings/getting the most from your money question rather than a house purchasing question if you see what I mean?0 -
Okay, thanks.
I will do that now. :-)Casual Comper | Money saving Newbie.0 -
Quite simply, whatever gives you the best interest, without an overly-long withdrawal period. 30 day notice should be just fine, but I wouldn't want to go beyond that.
You need to pay the 10% deposit at exchange, the balance at completion.0
