Bitsy how is DS getting on ?
xx
He's OK. It's been a rough few months TBH, he's shown more of his ASD side having gone through such upheaval. Think it's going to be a bumpy ride for a while as he's struggling with social side of things, interpreting other peoples intentions etc. School are very supportive and I have more support down here with support group and staff at a Trust who run the local childrens centre so feel I have some back up.
Anyway afternoon
Had a morning of cleaning and wrestling with changing our bed. I do love a King size bed but the duvet is like fighting a giant marshmallow.
Off to walk Luna and then I might finish a bit of decopatch before I pick kids up and go off to swimming.
Hubby has departmental meal lunchtime so will probably be sandwich for tea. I've have leftovers for lunch so probably same for me.
Nowt else going on. Very dark and dull here. Am missing some sun.
Hugs and spoons all round xx

Hi all
I've had Mr LW's jeans (3 pairs) and t-shirts (2) out on the whirligig all morning, but have brought them in now because it's coming over a tad black over Will's mother's, as my grandmother would've said.
Tru your “funny turn” sounds most alarming:eek: – are you sure you're ok now?
Lequirk Hello and welcome!
I've given the whole bungalow a good going over with the Dys0n prior to Bailey & Cassie's arrival tomorrow - can't do it while they're here very easily, because Bailey tries to bite the wheels. Last time they stayed, (it was lovely weather) I put them out in the back garden for 5 minutes, just to get the worst of the shed hair up; I heard a noise behind me, and there they were, side by side in the lounge doorway, with smug looks on their faces:D - I'd forgotten that Bailey can open the back door by himself, and he'd let them back in.:rotfl: I must remember to fetch out the collapsible crate and the cardboard box they have as "dining tables" while they're here (they both eat with their dishes raised off the floor) and also make sure my tennis racket is to hand, for games in the back garden.:o Can you tell, I'm really looking forward to them arriving?:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all
Home from work, thought I might have to leave early, but I stuck it out, it was fairly busy which helps.
DGD is going to gym club with her dad, so I get a break, Hubby is at the hearing unit, no doubt he'll phone when he needs collecting.
No idea what to do for tea, I'll see what hubby wants when he gets in as I'm not hungry, all I want is a cup of tea & a snooze.
Have a good evening everyone.
Hugs HesterChin up, Titus out.0 -
Just grabbing a few minutes before I put the dinner on.
Welcome to the newbies :santa2:
I was going to connect the new internet hub, but it will have to wait for DH to get home because my knees won't play ball
Apart from that, there is not much to tell
Tru your funny turn could be low blood sugar or low blood pressure, best to see the doctor and have a check up x
NPM ((((Hugs)))) thinking of you xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Evening all,
I am wearing my festive T shirt today :xmastree: as I have been for Xmas lunch with the lunchtime girls at work. We went to Dobbies this year and it was very nice.
Thought I'd have to come home and cook dinner for DH and DS2, but DH is cooking it, bless him.
At least it's Friday and I can have a bit of a lie in tomorrow. DH and I have decided (I've told him) to go Xmas shopping on Sunday
He is a footy tomorrow afternoon so I shall be sewing eyes and mouths onto all the sock creatures I have made for everyone.0 -

been a looooong week back at work in my old job. I dont have access to all the systems i need yet so its been a week of sitting doing not a great deal which has made it feel even longer!
Oh well, off now until Tuesday! Decided to get a pizzahut takeaway for tea tonight, and then off to Sheffield tomorrow to see Black Sabbath! Can't wait!!!!
Need to put some washing on, and tidy the kitchen, but that can wait until tomorrow morning.
BF has got an appointment through for his back surgery - 21st January - so not too long to wait. Fortunately its a day case thing, so he can come home and rest afterwards.
Right i'd best be off and pick up tea! Hoping to get some presents wrapped tonight too.
Hugs to everyonethe only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -
Evening everyone
Not managing to post very often and not much os going on really at home. Only bought 1 present towards Christmas, meant to be going tomorrow but think the shopping centre near Olympic village will be chocker and not even nice to shop in. Might see how it is then possible do a rethink and come home and shop online. DS2 wants a beanbag seen so many on the internet, but want one that will wash too. will continue searching.
Went out for lunch today to a local Italian, it was lovely. not really os though. Was taken out by dh last night for a Chinese meal for my birthday but was home by 9.30 as struggle with late nights during the week especially if I have 1 or two drinks.
os today dw emptied, kitchen cleaned.
Tru - hope you're feeling better, have to agree with the others that you need to get checked out.
Hilstep - Thinking of you.
HH - hope you are managing to rest a little.
Molly ((hugs))
sorry if I have missed anyone>hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. take care.

Tru – that really doesn't sound good, how are you feeling now?
Had a day off from work today and went to Tescos and managed to spend £100, eek! Okay, £45 of this was on petrol, but still, I went out with the intention of only buying a few groceries. Always the way. Bought my brother and dad a tshirt each, but still feel a bit lame in what I've bought them for Xmas. I did get a bit carried away with stuff for my girls. My eldest (5) is a tad obsessed with Snowman and the Snowman and the shops seem to be monopolising on this and I just couldn't resist! £4 for a pen, ooh my dears!
Found a lot of little Xmas pressie for my girls that I'd hidden in a suitcase, it was only the other day I was moaning to my mum that I couldn't find them. And I also found a few birthday presents for my cousin's daughter's 1st birthday that I'd completely forgotten about (she was 1 in September and I bought her more), so I'm just going to give them to her anyway when I see her on Sunday. No point keeping them, my girls (even at 3 and 5) are too old for what I bought.
Nmlc – always looking for new things that my girls might eat. And they like chicken and bacon and rice. Can I have the recipe pretty please?!
Dinner tonight was that slow cook gammon in cola, and after all everyone's ravings, I'm not sure I was too impressed. It was nice, don't get me wrong, and the girls actually did eat some which is amazing, but maybe I'm just too used to my mum's bacon and cabbage which is pretty good. It was a bit moisty than that, but there was no barbecue sauce to serve with the gammon, it was all watery still. Maybe I did something wrong, but... I'm still glad that I attempted it and next week I will attempt something else to see if they will eat it.
Only other Os thing I did today was wash the dog's bedding as yet again, the blooming cat had snuck into my bedroom and weed on it again. I have never been one to think of getting rid of animals, but seriously, she seems to think she can use my bedroom as her personal toilet if she manages to get into it!
Taking the girls to see Santa tomorrow which should be good. It's free and in a garden centre, so all great, just hope it all goes to plan as I've told the girlies about it now!
Glad it's Friday anyway as I think my oldest is finding full time school quite hard and can't wait for the holidays to start. It is only her first term after all, but she is so grumpy at the moment!
Managed to actually tidy up my bedroom a little bit today, so quite proud as I never seem to get things done. Got quite a few clothes put away, have no idea where they come from as I don't seem to wear that many!
Topsyturphy – congrats to your dd, her life is about to change in a huge way!!!!!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Julie67 now that's interesting. I've just looked it up online (no weird sites, just the NHS one!). Only one thing applies to me - food. I used to eat little and often, but lately I've been trying to eat at 'proper' mealtimes - this means I'm going longer between meals. I wonder if I should go back to grazing? A couple of years ago, I had a few appointments with the doc - sometimes fasting blood tests, sometimes normal blood tests and always had my blood pressure taken. Blood pressure is in the normal range but on the low end of it. I've had similar happen before but I can't remember if I've gone a few hours without eating when they happened. Will experiment with more snacks - YAY! lol - and ring the doc if it happens again.
Combination of low blood pressure and low blood glucose. Try sucking one of those glucose sweets and lie down with feet elevated. Stick a cushion under right side so take pressure off aorta which helps blood flow or lie on your left side.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
