How far do I have to go back?

Just thought I would post a quick update, for anyone who contributed here.
I am selling one of the bikes (possibly both) and have bought a Mazda MX-5. It fits the bill quite well. It's fairly simple mechanically, and I reckon I can do most of the necessary jobs on it. While not fast, it's comfy and handles well and is a complete hoot to drive. Best of all, at the beginning of Autumn, it was ridiculously cheap. I know I will need to keep an eye on the bodywork for rust, but it seems in good shape for a 15-year-old.
The Mondeo is staying as the official utility vehicle.
Had a run out with the Mrs with the top down on Monday and we had a great time. Owing to health problems, she hasn't been able to come out on the bike with me for a few years, but now we can go off for a blast together once more. Result, I'd say.
Thanks all.If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -
