Been missing in action lately!
Work Christmas do was insanely brilliant  Free bar, free dinner. Then some of us went into the city centre to go dancing. First time I've been out like that in absolutely ages. I got id'd at a club! The bouncer said it was because they do "challenge 25" so had to check anyone looking under 25. I'm 34 so very chuffed indeed!!!
Then pretty spend free until meeting up for lunch with some friends on the 27th. "Luckily" I was feeling a bit under the weather so didn't eat much!
Went shopping today for work wear (been looking like a right scruff lately). Next sale (plus a couple of full price bits) and I am sorted for the year (may just need some shoes later on in the year).
We got a slow cooker for Christmas so pleased with that
Also got some anti aging cream from my sister... Not sure what she is trying to tell me! :rotfl:
Pay day tomorrow. Yippee!
Then a whole shiny new year. I am mulling over goals for 2014 and will post them up asap.
In case it is a few days though HAPPY NEW YEAR!!Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117

Kicked off the new year by paying £400 back to the bank of mum and dad.
I am awake with a really stuffy cold so thought I'd do something useful. Also, I think we have enough in the pot for an op on the mortgage. Will call them to check the amount from work (back on Thursday) rather than call an 0845 number from home.

Oh dear I've been such a slacker at updating this!
Time at last to set out my goals for the year.
I wan to make sure this year is a fabulous one so will maybe not be as MSE as I could be but will make sure I don't go mad and that I get good value for money etc along the way.
So here is my signature as it stands so that I can check back on the goals later on....

GOALS FOR 2014
-fillemergency fund
-loseweight - I have actually made a blinding start on this and have lost 8lbs already this year (helped by being ill and losing my appetite with it) - I want to lose another 8lb to get to 11stone by May and will then see how I am doing.
-reduceamount owed to parents and in laws by a total of £600
-reducemortgage term by at least 6 months
-fillbaby fund
-atleast 10 nsd per month
-becomehealthier - less coke, less sweets, more healthy foods
-gofor at least one lunchtime walk per week
-get fitter and stronger - to this end I have started the "30 Day Shred" (on day 3 - it is killing me!!) and have entered a sponsored walk of 26 miles overnight in May
-dress more smartly for work - have become a bit of a scruff lately. Have got some new bits in the Next sale and also on good old Bay of Fleas so no excuse to be anything other than sharp!!
-keep a positive frame of mind, enjoy life, find something to laugh about every single day no matter what!
